We are pleased to announce that “Fluct” has won the Red Dot Design Award 2022 in the product category. This is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious design awards.
Fluct is a wall clock designed by Daisuke Kitagawa. With “dignity” as its theme and a focus on the expression of materials and textures, it has been meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. With a comfortable dignity, the wall clock blends beautifully into any space and conveys the fluctuation and change that occurs with the passage of time.
In winning this award, we strive to expand the sales of Fluct and actively promote the use of design in manufacturing to enhance our brand image.
Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to these efforts.
More dignity for wall clocks.
Fluct is a wall clock designed with “enrichment” as its theme, with a focus on the expression of its materials and textures, and attention paid to every detail. The frame and face are made of natural wood for a soft and gentle look; the indexes feature a characteristic mirror finish like inlays; and the dauphine hands give a classic impression. With a calm dignity born from the contrast and harmony of these elements, Fluct blends into any space beautifully.
This is an elegant clock that conveys the fluctuations and changes that occur every moment over time.
About Red Dot Design Award
The Red Dot Design Award is an international design competition organized by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany. The competition is divided into three categories: Product Design, Brand & Communication Design, and Design Concept, each of which is judged annually by world-class design experts.
Each year, the highly prestigious competition attracts over 10,000 entries from companies, organizations, and designers from more than 60 countries.
Winning projects are honored with the award at a glamorous ceremony attended by designers from around the world and exhibited at the Red Dot Design Museums in Germany, Singapore, and China. In particular, the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany contains one of the largest collections of contemporary design exhibits in the world. The museum is housed in a historic building, the former boiler house of the Zollverein Mine, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
