New Color | CUCU

Lemnos’s first cuckoo clock, the CUCU makes use of a long-lasting design that has been in production for over 15 years.

“CUCU- 3 new colors”, designed by Yuichi Nara
Released September 16, 2026

The clock tells the time with a charming cuckoo call, accompanied by the gentle sounds of a trickling stream. Inspired by a simple birdhouse, the clock’s design blends naturally into any living space. It can be hung on the wall or used as a table clock.

The clock’s body is crafted from domestic Japanese chestnut wood. Alongside the natural version, which showcases the beauty of the wood grain, and the deep, rich charcoal version, the lineup now includes three new colors: indigo, harvest, and bengara.
Indigo evokes a deep blue; harvest recalls the abundance of early autumn, golden wheat fields, and ripening rice stalks; while bengara brings to mind traditional red iron oxide pigment. Each finish is carefully applied with natural oil while preserving the beauty of the wood grain to highlight the rich, natural character that is unique to chestnut wood. The wood develops a richer, more nuanced character with age and use, adding a subtle touch of color to everyday life.
