Designer

Kaori Akiyama established STUDIO BYCOLOR in 2013, a design office specializing in the effective use of color and materials. After graduating from the Department of Design Engineering at Chiba University's Faculty of Engineering in 2002, she worked as a designer for an office furniture manufacturer until 2012. STUDIO BYCOLOR has won many awards, including the iF Design Award Gold and the DFA Design Award Gold. She also serves as a judge for the iF Design Award and the Good Design Award, engaging in activities to identify design value.
